Childbirth Education at Palms West Hospital
Palms West Hospital is very proud to offer our pre-registered clients the most outstanding group Childbirth Education Class in our community. Our #1 goal is to make you knowledgeable in every aspect of your labor and delivery as well as make you VERY satisfied with your birthing experience in "Your New Life Center". At Palms West Hospital our childbirth classes are taught by, Leslie Menghi-Parzygnat, an R.N. on our Labor and Delivery floor.
Leslie Menghi-Parzygnat is a Registered Nurse and is a C.A.P.P.A. Certified Childbirth Educator. She has been teaching classes at our facility for over two years and her instruction is often described as "educational and entertaining". She will be able to help you understand the labor & birth process - as well as give you the information you need to make choices about your birth experience so it can be the birth you dreamed of. Get all the facts about what happens when you go into labor and you give birth.

Our childbirth classes are offered in two different ways to accommodate almost any schedule --
One class is an all day Saturday class from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. The other class is a 4 week series - offered on four consecutive Thursday nights from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM.
Please bring a water bottle, snack, blanket and 2 pillows. Wear comfortable clothes for floor exercises.

*To register for one of our Group Childbirth Education Classes you must be pre-registered at Palms West Hospital for your baby's birth. For more information call our OB Department at 798-3300 ext. 4000.
In addition to childbirth classes, Palms West Hospital also offers baby care and sibling classes.
